Question 1

What is Kildr?

Accepted Answer

Kildr delivers one paid message request to a phone number. The recipient gets a private link showing who is asking and how much was paid. They decide whether to open the message, decline it, ignore it or block future requests.

Question 2

Can Kildr reach someone who has blocked my normal number?

Accepted Answer

A Kildr request is separate from your normal phone number, but it is not designed to disguise you or defeat a safety boundary. The recipient sees who is asking before the message is revealed and can refuse the request. If there is a restraining order, no-contact order, fear, harassment history or a clear instruction not to make further contact, do not use Kildr.

Question 3

Why put money behind a message?

Accepted Answer

The amount is a visible signal that you chose to spend something on one request. It does not prove that your message is sincere and a larger amount does not guarantee that the recipient will open it. The recipient remains free to say no.

Question 4

Do I need an account?

Accepted Answer

No. There is no sender account or subscription. You confirm your own phone number after payment and receive a private status link for the request.

Question 5

Can I send more than one request?

Accepted Answer

Kildr limits the same sender to one request to the same recipient every five minutes. Repeated or unwanted contact is not the purpose of the service, and recipients can block a sender or opt out of Kildr entirely.

Question 6

Does paying mean they have to read it?

Accepted Answer

No. Paying buys submission and delivery of one request when delivery is available. It never buys attention, consent, a reading, forgiveness or a reply.

Question 7

Does the recipient get the money?

Accepted Answer

No. The amount is the fee paid to Kildr for the request. The recipient sees the amount before deciding whether to open the message, but the money is not transferred to them.

Question 8

How much does it cost?

Accepted Answer

You choose an amount at or above the minimum shown in the send flow, with no Kildr maximum (payment-provider limits still apply), displayed in your local currency. Kildr does not claim that a particular amount will produce a particular response or open rate.

Question 9

Can I get a refund if they never open it?

Accepted Answer

Not simply because the recipient declines, ignores the request or chooses not to reply. If Kildr cannot provide the delivery service because of a qualifying technical or availability failure, the request is handled under the refund rules in the Terms and Conditions.

Question 10

How is Kildr different from texting from a new number?

Accepted Answer

Kildr does not depend on pretending to be someone else. The recipient gets a clearly identified Kildr request, sees the sender identity when provided and the amount before the message, and can decline without opening the message.

Question 11

What is the read receipt?

Accepted Answer

The optional read receipt lets the sender see whether and when the request and message were opened. It does not contact the recipient again and does not create any obligation to reply.

Question 12

What do I see before I open anything?

Accepted Answer

You see who is asking when the sender identifies themselves, the amount they paid and the controls available to you. The message body is not shown until you deliberately unlock it.

Question 13

Does it cost me anything to open a request?

Accepted Answer

No. Recipients never pay to view or decline a Kildr request.

Question 14

Can I decline without opening the message?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can decline before the message body is revealed. You do not have to provide a reason.

Question 15

How do I block a sender or leave Kildr entirely?

Accepted Answer

The recipient page provides controls to block that sender or opt the phone number out of Kildr. Blocking prevents that sender's requests from being delivered while the block is active. Full opt-out prevents Kildr requests to that number.

Question 16

What happens to requests from someone I blocked on Kildr?

Accepted Answer

They are not delivered to you while the Kildr block is active. The sender is not given a route around that decision. If you later choose to unblock them, the service may release held requests gradually, and you can block again at any time.

Question 17

Is my message private?

Accepted Answer

The message body is not included in the notification SMS or shown on the initial request screen. It is made available to the intended recipient only after they choose to unlock it. Private message and status pages are also configured not to be indexed by public search engines.

Question 18

Can I stay anonymous?

Accepted Answer

You can choose not to show your name. Your own phone number is private by default. If you are not anonymous, the send flow also gives you an explicit option to share your phone number with the recipient.

Question 19

What stops Kildr being used for harassment?

Accepted Answer

Every request has a real cost, the same sender is limited to one request to the same recipient every five minutes, recipients can block or opt out, and opened messages can be reported. Abuse can result in access being removed. Paying does not excuse prohibited contact.

Question 20

Which countries can I send to?

Accepted Answer

Kildr accepts supported international mobile numbers and displays supported pricing in local currency based on location. Actual SMS delivery depends on the destination network and provider availability.

Question 21

Is it legal to contact someone who blocked me?

Accepted Answer

That depends on the circumstances and jurisdiction. A block can be an important boundary, and repeated unwanted contact may create legal or safety issues. Never use Kildr to violate a restraining order, no-contact order or other legal restriction. If you are unsure whether contact is appropriate, do not send the request and seek qualified legal advice where needed.

Question 22

How can I tell if someone blocked my number?

Accepted Answer

There is no reliable universal test. Calls, delivery indicators and messaging behavior can change for many reasons. Do not use new numbers or accounts simply to test whether a person has blocked you.

Question 23

Should I reach out to someone who blocked me?

Accepted Answer

Often the better choice is not to. If there is a genuine, proportionate reason for one final request, only send it if you are prepared to accept no reply and there is no safety or legal reason not to contact them. A protective order, fear, harassment history or explicit instruction not to contact them means you should not use Kildr.

Question 24

Should I text an ex after no contact?

Accepted Answer

Do not treat no contact as a tactic for forcing a reaction. If your goal is simply to reopen a relationship the other person has closed, respect the silence. Kildr is only appropriate where one proportionate request can be made without pressure and you are prepared to leave the decision entirely with the recipient.

Question 25

What is the best way to reach an estranged family member who will not respond?

Accepted Answer

Keep any appropriate first contact short, specific and easy to refuse. Do not recruit relatives to pressure them and do not send repeated messages. If there is no safety or legal restriction and one request is genuinely appropriate, Kildr can provide a private, refusable way to deliver it.
