Start with the part that is verifiable
Separate the event you can describe from the motive or reaction you are guessing. For a message about how to report pests to a landlord in writing, use this factual base: record the property, room, payment, repair, behavior, and relevant lease or household agreement.
Make one answerable request
Give the recipient one concrete question or next step instead of several emotional jobs at once. Ask for one remedy with reasonable access and timing, then document what was agreed. Make the immediate next step clear enough that the recipient can answer without reconstructing the entire history.
Leave the recipient in control
Do not enter private space, withhold essential services, threaten eviction, or change locks without lawful authority. Use emergency, housing, tenant, health, or legal support for unsafe conditions, violence, or unlawful conduct. A clear message remains useful even when the answer is no or no answer arrives.
